Where did “Whimsical yet Complex” come from?

It came from a South African editor who describe one of my manuscripts as such. The phrase stuck with me and decided that it would fit within this company.

Who gave you the license to be weird?

Salvador Dali, TJ Kirk, Frank Zappa, and Scatman John

Who are your two, favorite Founding Fathers?

  • (1 well-known; 2 less-known)
  • (Without giving the Sarah Palin answer of “all of them”)

My two favorite Founding Fathers include:

  1. Benjamin Franklin: Beyond being a signatory to the Constitution, Franklin was a well-known polymath and publisher and the “First American.”
  2. Edward Langworthy: he was an orphan who taught at the very same school he was educated in. He rose the ranks to become the Georgia delegate to sign the Articles of Confederation.
  3. Charles Thomson: a signatory of the Declaration of Independence representing Pennsylvania, he came to America as a poverty-stricken Scots-Irish immigrant. He would rise the ranks from a Latin tutor to the secretary of Pennsylvania.
